A Comforting Message

I just came upon this scripture quote and it moved me to tears and it humbled me to know how much we are loved.

"I will go before your face...

I will be on your right hand and on your left...

my SPIRIT shall be in your hearts,

and mine angels round about you to bear you up."

Finding the Light

I just was catching up on some of the blogs and I came across my friend Sarah's and I hope she really doesn't mind me copying it, but it really is something that I needed to hear today.

I had a sort of personal episode that I had to relive again and seek for help from my wonderful husband. I have to say I am so grateful for the Priesthood in my home. I am eternally thankful to my Savior for his loving Atonement and all the sacrifices he has made for ME. I am so happy that I have a wonderful Father in Heaven that loves me so and watches over me. I know he knows me better than I know myself.

I also have to point out along with my all knowing Heavenly Father he has sent me angels to protect and watch over me... he has sent me my sisters. This is the 3rd time that he has brought them to me in the last month when I needed them the most. It is amazing to me that as soon as the clouds roll in Linsy and Amber have both called.

After talking to Geoff and getting a Priesthood blessing I came upon this quote;

"This is Jeffrey R. Holland. He is one of the twelve living apostles on the earth today. Just as Christ had apostles on the earth in his time, He has appointed them in our time as well. He knows your hopes and dreams, including your fears and frustrations. And He knows what you can become through faith in Him."

SEEING GREEN

Thursday was the day we saw WICKED the musical for the very first time and words can not describe how "wonderful" it was. I was tearing up as soon as Galinda (Glinda) started singing, she was amazing! The costumes were fantabulous and as soon as Elphaba came out it reached a new level- so thrilling. I sat back in awe- seeing this for my very eyes strengthened my faith in God. You may ask yourselves why? that's random! But as soon as I saw them I felt a sence of love that God has for each and everyone of us. He blesses us in so many ways- especially our talents!! How amazing a gift to be given and these people all knew it. In almost every quote from the actors commentaries they thanked God for all he has done for them. It was a truly awesome experience.

We went out to eat in downtown Portland at the Macoroni Grill. It was very yummy!

Unfortunitely after this point my camera battery died so Geoff had to use his i phone for pictures after this point.

Eve lasted half of the show which wasn't so bad, but I wish she could've seen more. I guess she was pretty irritated when she woke up the next day and realized what she missed. That's what happens when we take her to a show starting around her bedtime. lol

Wicked Week

This week will be WICKED awesome! I am so excited to say that this week is a big week and Geoff, Eve and I are all going to see WICKED the musical on Thursday. We have been waiting quite a while to see it and now it is finally here. We have been having rehearsals in the car...ha,ha. The funniest thing is when we are out in public and Eve and Jackson belt out lyrics from a one of the songs. Gosh, I love my kids! I am glad to instill in them the joys of musicals. he,he

Geoff's birthday is also coming up on the 9th and he keeps on talking about this sundae mountain from Ben & Jerry's called the Vermonster. I told him we'll see, but it is your bday so you decide- those crazy boys!
